Costs

The following costs apply to our courses:

• Each Open Course costs £110 per person
• Canapes and Student Survival Suppers cost £65
• ‘5 Days to Confident Cooking‘ costs £490 (non residential)
• Learn to Cook & More, Course of 4 evening classes £165

Generous discounts are available for multiple bookings; please contact us to find out more.

All courses are non residential. Should you require accommodation we have links with a number of local quality B & B's and self catering cottages.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers can be purchased for specific courses and dates, or can be open for the individual to choose, subject to availability. Gift Vouchers are valid for a year from the date of issue.

How to Book

To make a booking or arrange for a gift voucher please contact us, either by filling in the contact form on the website, by phone on 01934 824584, or by email. Since class sizes are small it is always advisable to check for the latest availability.

How to Pay

Payment for all courses and gift vouchers can be made by cheque, payable to ‘Vanilla and Spice'. At the present time we do not take credit card transactions.

For gift vouchers full payment is required at the time of purchase.

For pre booking courses a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance usually payable on the day.

Full terms and conditions and cancellation information is available on request, but should you need to alter a booking then we always try our utmost to accommodate any requests. Deposits are non refundable.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that dates, prices and course information are correct at the time of publication we do reserve the right to make alterations if they are necessary. If we are required to cancel a course through unforeseen circumstances then all monies paid in advance will be refunded in full or transferred to an alternative course. We cannot however be held responsible for any costs you may have incurred as a result of the booking.

Other useful information

Vanilla & Spice has full public liability insurance and food hygiene certification.

Aprons are supplied for each course.

We suggest you wear comfortable shoes/trainers as you're on your feet a large part of the day.

Each course comes complete with a folder and all the recipes for you to take home.

Location

Situated 15 miles south of Bristol we are easy to reach, being 10 minutes from the M5 Junction 21 (Weston-Super-Mare) and situated between the A370 and A38.
